About LocalConvertFiles

LocalConvertFiles is a set of free file tools that run entirely inside your web browser. Your files are never uploaded, and you do not need an account.

What you can do here

• Images: compress and convert JPG, PNG and WebP, turn iPhone HEIC photos into JPG, and remove hidden data such as GPS location from photos.
• PDF: merge, split, reorder, rotate and delete pages, turn pages into images, and build a PDF from images.
• Documents: turn Word (.docx), OpenDocument, RTF and text files into PDF, and turn a PDF into Word, text or HTML.
• Audio: save the sound from a video or audio file as MP3 or WAV.

How it works

When you open the page, your browser loads the tools. After that, your device does all the work. The files you choose never travel over the internet, and nothing is stored. Read the privacy page to see how to check this yourself.

Why it is free

The site is supported by ads from Google AdSense. There are no accounts, no watermarks and no limits on how many files you convert.

Good to know

Very large files depend on your device's memory, so they can fail on phones. PDF to Word keeps the text but not the layout, and scanned PDFs cannot be read. The FAQ covers these and other common questions.
