Your files
When you choose a file, the tool reads and changes it on your own device, using your browser's memory. The file is not sent over the internet and is not stored. When you close or refresh the tab, it is gone. The files you save are created on your device and saved only where you choose.
What this site does not do
There are no user accounts, no logins and no payment forms. The tools themselves do not set cookies or store anything about you in your browser. The site shows ads provided by Google AdSense, described below.
What other services can see
Like every website, loading this page involves a few outside services. They see ordinary connection details such as your IP address, your browser type and the time of the request. They never see your files.
- The web host that serves this site keeps standard server logs.
- Code libraries that power the tools are loaded from cdnjs.cloudflare.com and cdn.jsdelivr.net.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
- Ads are provided by Google AdSense (see below).
Advertising
This site is free because it shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show and measure ads, including ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Your files are never sent to Google: they are processed only on your device. You can manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, and read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
How to check this yourself
Open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab, and convert a file. You will see that no request carries your file. You can also turn off your internet connection after the page has loaded. The tools keep working.
